IGCSE History Paper

IGCSE History Paper 1 is the first exam in the IGCSE history course. It is more of a survey than a discussion.

 

This IGCSE history paper is not usually an essay. The syllabus usually asks you to read more on the subject. For this IGCSE History Paper the syllabus has not specified a writing style, it has only told you to read more on the subject.

 

IGCSE history does have at least one text that explains how you can write a historical document for your history project. That text is called the General History Principles Handbook and is found here:

 

There are a number of available resources for students to find what they need for their IGCSE history projects. Your school library has a lot of History books available to choose from. Your local university or college library will have some as well. You can also buy general histories by Kenneth Browne and Jay Witman.

 

Other than these two books you will find numerous sources of information in the internet. Browse online and you will find plenty of information.
